As the #1 Dermatologist recommended skincare brand, CeraVe’s site wanted to demonstrate its industry leadership and commitment to providing therapeutic skincare solutions. The brand has an enthusiastic audience they wanted to serve with a digital experience that was as effective as their products. Customers want to know which product will help them achieve healthy skin, the ingredients in the products and why they work, but they also want this information delivered in a clear, digestible way.
The skincare journey can be complicated, but CeraVe’s strength is partnering with dermatologists to offer consumers a path to clarity, so we knew the digital experience needed to match that. We conducted in-depth consumer research and mapped out the customer journeys so we could offer that desired clarity as the strategic approach.

Every aspect of the digital experience is the start of a pathway to clarity for consumers. We created opportunities to get genuinely deep into skincare, offering easy-to-consume information about skin types and corresponding skincare routines. The experience leads people deep into the products and the details of their critical ingredients, especially ceramides, which put the "cera" in CeraVe. Using a variety of engaging formats, from video to interactive quizzes and clear product cards, we enabled consumers to have a rich and rewarding digital experience.
To achieve a successful digital transformation and bring the experience to life, we used an agile and collaborative approach. Working with several of CeraVe’s existing partners and their internal brand team, we were able to holistically evolve the experience across all touchpoints.
